The IVCSD, in partnership with Associated Students, is working to create a new spring festival, Soltopia, for our community to save the live music and the creative spirit of Isla Vista. We're not trying to replace the legacy of Deltopia - but we do believe our community deserves a fun, safe community event.

What does a Soltopia wristband get you?
- FREE food all day long from our amazing festival vendors (Roger's Tacos, Yetz's Bagel, Bagel Cafe, Super Cuca's, Elubia's, Maria's Tacos, Isla Vista Food Co-op, Woodstock's Pizza, Zocalo)
- VIP access to each entertainment zone. Skip the lines for music, bevs, bites, and games.
- Identify yourself as a local. Wristbands are exclusive to IV and on-campus residents.
How to get one:
- Fill out the Wristband Sign-Up Form
- Pick up in-person from March 30th - April 3rd at the IV Community Center from 9 AM - 8 PM
- Register as an individual OR with a campus / IV organization (ex: Greek life, campus clubs, etc.)
Wristbands are free for locals! Just provide proof of residency like a screenshot of a lease, utility bill, a valid student ID, dormitory card, etc.

"Hi, my name is Rachel Hartman and I’m a first year at UCSB, I am a part of the IVCSD Event Lead team where we are working to host an event on April 4th to not replace Deltopia but continue the tradition and community of Isla Vista as a day we can come together and listen to some good music with six different stages, entertainment zones, and interactive art areas. Being a first year at UCSB means I wasn’t able to experience Deltopia last year but I am so excited to be a part of this team that is working to provide a similar experience to those other first years like myself who were looking forward to experiencing this event and can still have fun even with the noise ordinance in place.
My personal spot is the IV Co-op where if you need a chill place to go to on the day of the event to cool down and have some popsicles and have some catered sandwiches listen to folky/country music from your favorite bands like Georgia, Monkfish, Junkyard, Emergency Contact etc. There will be tides and tunes, good vibes, and blues, yellows, whites, and sunflower decor for an homage to the IV Co-Op sunflower logo."
